Property Council Code of Conduct

St Ives Retirement Living is pleased to announce that we have recently registered as a signatory to the Property Council Code of Conduct. The Code has been developed and endorsed by peak bodies responsible for representing the owners and operators of Retirement Communities; the Property Council of Australia and Leading Age Services Australia (LASA).

The Retirement Living Code of Conduct aims to set and maintain high standards relating to the marketing, selling and operation of Retirement Communities. St Ives Retirement Living believes the Code of Conduct underscores our existing commitment to promote and protect the interests of our current and future residents.

The Retirement Living Code of Conduct has been developed to provide retirement community owners and operators with an agreed set of standards that they should meet to ensure retirement community residents have an excellent experience. The Code ensures St Ives Retirement Living are accountable to our residents for the standards we have agreed to uphold, operate with integrity, and implement best business practices across our retirement village operations.

The Retirement Living Code of Conduct sets standards relating to all aspects of our resident’s experience in their retirement village community. It is divided into four sections of standards.

As a Signatory to the Code, we will comply with the Code Commitments in relation to our Retirement Village Communities. Our activities will be consistent with the Vision, Objectives, Values and Principles detailed in the Code.
