Residents at our Northshore village braved a wet and windy day to show their support for their new coffee shop which kicked off this week. Within the Village’s restaurant, the cafe has been set-up with a barista providing carefully prepared lattes, flat whites and cappuccinos. To go with their warm coffee was a selection of fresh pastries, cakes and snacks – what a way to start the day!
Chef Avish was kept very busy as the residents poured in, ready for their coffee and treat. Janice Goldsmith, one of our residents, was very happy with the new coffee shop.
It is lovely to see so many residents enjoying the coffee shop and socialising together. The café was buzzing with conversation and I enjoyed the best hot chocolate I’d had in a long time!
Village Manager Richard Swift also loves a good coffee and is very happy that the Village can now provide this service to residents.
It is fantastic to be able to add quality services to the village that the residents can really enjoy together. The strong social fabric of our Village is very important to me and our new coffee shop set up really adds value to that element of Northshore Village. I hope residents, their families and friends will come to enjoy it more often.
