Our residents at our Melville village couldn’t wait to get together and celebrate the opening of their brand new Clubhouse. Laughter and chatter filled the spacious rooms as they got their first glimpse of the facility and tucked into a few cheeky scones and cakes.
It was an exciting experience for our residents, as well as our Projects team, after watching the construction over the last few months. Village Manager Sam said that a few residents were having a sneak peek at the Clubhouse before the morning tea event, so she invited them inside to scope out their new Clubhouse.
Sunshine streams through the windows, filling the Clubhouse with a warm, inviting glow. With its spacious kitchen and dining area, residents can meet up with their neighbours, or invite their family and friends over for a meal, or perhaps put on a BBQ in the outdoor alfresco area. If they prefer some quiet, there’s a quiet reading nook, and also some very comfy chairs to kick back and watch some TV or a movie. There’s even a few pieces of gym equipment in the Clubhouse for those who wish to keep active without going too far from home.
With so much potential, the residents are very excited about what is to come and have been putting their heads together to plan some exciting events and activities to hold at the Clubhouse. The problem is which one to do first!
