Our Albany residents have figured out the recipe for a wonderful afternoon: mix a tasty Ploughman’s lunch with a reading from a local bush poet and chase it with a game of bingo. The fact that the sun was shinning was a very welcomed bonus.
Residents flocked to the Clubhouse for Albany’s installment of the “Spring at St Ives” events and filled the room with chatter and laughter. Two of our residents, Evelyn and Monika, pulled out all the stops in the set-up, ensuring the venue was perfect. After tucking into a catered meal, residents heard a number of poems from a local bush poet.

Bingo is always a big draw card for our residents and today was no exception and with so many great prizes up for grabs we’re not surprised. From meat packs perfect for a summer BBQ through to boxes of chocolates, there was something to tickle everyone’s fancy.

Talk soon turned to the next event so we’re looking forward to seeing what our Albany residents get up to next.
The Spring at St Ives events were held at a number of our Villages over the last few weeks. Mandurah was first up with a Western Hoedown (

catch up here).
If these events sound like something you’d love to be a part of, then now is the perfect time to get in touch and start your journey towards your St Ives lifestyle. Each Village is unique and offer a range of activities and homes so please contact us to request an info pack and arrange your free Village tour. Our residents are always eager to meet their potential new neighbours and are happy to share with you their experiences to help with your journey.
