Villas close to health facilities
Three villas have become available at the sought after St Ives Murdoch village. St Ives sales and property general manager Alan Draper said the village had recently completed and sold its final release (stage 10), making it one of the biggest retirement villages in Perth.
It now has 361 homes – 306 mostly freestanding villas and 55 apartments – as well as resort-style facilities and an enviable location next door to Murdoch University, and Fiona Stanley and St John of God Hospitals, he said.
Mr Draper said another benefit was that the village is next to the state of the art St Ives Murdoch Residential Care Centre.
“All the homes boast one or two bedrooms plus a study/third bedroom, two bathrooms and either double or single lock up garaging or secure basement parking, ” he said.
“The village has six gated entry points, providing our residents with a sense of security while still providing easy access to the nearby shopping and medical facilities.”
A 24 hour emergency call system as well as high ceilings, an abundance of natural light, neutral décor and a gourmet kitchen are other villa inclusions.
Another drawcard is the villages resort-like facilities, especially the centrally located homestead-style clubhouse.
It has a restaurant, café, billiards room, ballroom with a dance floor, hairdressers, library and computer room and, for those who like to keep active, there is also a three-lane bowling green, mini-golf course and health pavilion with a heated pool, spa and gymnasium.
There is also a men’s workshop for those who like to tinker about, and a range of entertainment hubs throughout the village including a 50-seat cinema and four mini-clubhouse areas.
St Ives Murdoch also has a secure onsite caravan and boat parking zone.
The three available villas are priced from $630,000. Six villas are also being refurbished and will be available soon.
