Village Manager – Retirement Living

In this position, you will oversee daily operations, ensure legislative obligations are met, and foster a warm and inclusive environment for our Residents. With a focus on Contracts & Compliance, Facilities and Financial Management, WHS, Risk & Strategy, and Customer Service, you will manage a diverse range of tasks and challenges.
Additionally, St Ives is excited to announce the development of Stage 3 of our Albany Village. This provides a unique opportunity to play a key role in the project management of this new property development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cultivating strong collaborative relationships with residents and committees to foster a positive culture within the community, promptly addressing any issues or complaints.
- Managing all aspects of the Village’s operations and financials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, annual budgets, village meetings, WHS, risk management, cost control processes, and reporting.
- Leading and managing a small team to deliver high-quality service and drive continuous improvement in village operations, collaborating with stakeholders across the business.
- Overseeing asset maintenance and improvement projects, including facility and contractor management.
- Tendering contracts, ensuring service quality, and supervising contracted works, including participation in larger projects.
- Contributing to strategic and business planning for the village.
- Staying updated on relevant legislation and resident contracts.
